RPS BVI was founded by Will Adamson and Chris Fletcher, who have both lived in the BVI for their entire lives. Calling this place home for so long means we have an unparalleled passion for these islands which is reflected in the quality of workmanship that we deliver to our clients. We have an intimate knowledge of the unique problems that we face in the BVI as well as a comprehensive understanding of their solutions..

After working as a technician installing solar panels in the BVI in 2016, Will began his studies at The University of Edinburgh and holds a B.Eng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
During university, Will focused his research on renewable energy production in the Caribbean and wrote his thesis on the decarbonisation of isolated island grid systems, with the BVI used as a case study. This thesis recieved the Best Project Certificate award from the Institute for Mechanical Engineers, which is the governing body for mechanical engineers in the United Kingdom.
Will has participated in the design and installation of dozens of solar panel arrays in the BVI, ranging from 3kW to over 50kW.

Chris has managed solar companies in the BVI for over eight years with more than eleven years of electrical engineering experience, spanning six different countries between the Caribbean and Canada.Chris is a certified BZEE Wind Turbine Technician, Red Seal Program Certified Electrician and Industrial Mechanic, and holds numerous trade, international, and equipment certifications specific to work in the renewables field.Since returning to the BVI following postgraduate education in Canada, Chris has served as the operating manager for several prominent local solar companies and has designed, installed or consulted on most solar systems in the BVI. He is highly experienced with the local design, regulation and permitting processes. In addition to working in the BVI, he has done design work and managed various projects across the greater Caribbean region.
